And so, the beginning of the end.
Before you scratch your heads in puzzlement, know that the Final Movement will definitely be the longest of all 5. And considering the Fourth took about 10 months alone….we still have a long way to go.
As usual, post your predictions for this chapter in the comments below! In addition, the Chapters page of the site has been updated.
If you missed it, Page 200 went up Monday night. Click “Back” and check it out if you haven’t already.
First of all: I sincerely apologize for how late I am with this. It is entirely my fault. Nothing serious came up, it was just a result of bad procrastination. The page took longer than I anticipated. I am very sorry for leaving you in the dark and update-less for so long. On the other hand, you can be less in the dark and stay up to date with my estimations of updates by Liking the Facebook page (button on the left.)
That said…my tests in school are done as of the end of this week, so updating SHOULDN’T be a problem again until September.
Secondly: I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for sticking around with this comic for 200 pages! It has certainly been an adventure, and it’s you readers who make it completely worth it. I appreciate you more than you probably know. I hope you continue to enjoy what Soul Symphony has it store for you. We’re far from done.
Edit [Sunday, May 6th]: I regret to say that page 200 will not be ready by tomorrow. I am now aiming for Friday. I apologize, and thank you very much for your patience.
A little more suspense.
The next page is page 200, I promise. However, it sadly won’t be ready in time for Friday. So I’m AIMING for next Monday. Thank you for your patience and I’ll see you all then!
At long last…the moment that a small portion of the student body that feels like supporting their school’s musicians and staying after school to attend a school event HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!
As I’ve said, page 200 is kinda huge. I may have to take an update day off to stall so I can finish it. In the meantime, if you have any fanart or guest comics lying around, feel free to send them my way. The Fourth Movement will be over as well! Thank you all for sticking around.
Fun fact: Tom does not actually have many friends.
Big page 200 is coming up soon. I’m not sure whether I’ll be taking a week break or something after it. If I do, I’d love to put up any guest comics or fan art if you guys have any of that. Could be a good way to unwind with ending the Fourth Movement.
Charlie’s gotta shift out of metal mode.
Sorry for the late update. Things might be a little sporadic for the next two weeks. This is for two reasons…
1. I’ve got a couple of school obligations coming up that’s gonna suck some time away from me [including Wind Ensemble of course.]
2. Page 200 is HUUUGE and I definitely can’t finish it in time after a normal page. Get excited, and thank you for being patient!
By the way: There’s an awesome guy on Tumblr named “LearnFromWebcomics.” He’s a writer who helps teach writing lessons using webcomics as examples. He wrote an awesome review of Soul Symphony the other day. Check it out! I could not be more flattered.
Oh hi Eric. I see you’re still a pretty stressed-out kid.
For those whose school districts might not have these: an “honor society” in American schools is like a select club. You send in an application with certain requirements (for example, having a certain average in your History class in order to be accepted for History Honor Society). Like clubs, the list of Honor Societies you’re in [and whether you're the President of them] shows up on your college application, so the point is mostly to impress college admissions.
