John’s probably been doodling combo moves in his math notes ever since Charlie’s Soul World. Too bad this display was a little more embarassing than awesome.
It does no more damage than a normal sword slice, slows you down, messes up the targeting, and makes you dizzy. Anime doesn’t work in real life.
Maybe if John takes enough damage to build up his revenge meter, he can perform his ultra combo.
Before he used his super combo, he should’ve hit the L-Trigger and had on of his allies use an assist move first :P
-I think it would do quite a bit more damage, if nothing else due to the fact that you would be hitting them repeatedly, but everything else seems pretty accurate. But, it also apparently works like a saw, and can cut through ground like butter.
Of course, you have to wonder whether the slicing of the mental world affects the mind of its master…
And what DOES the spider represent? And how do they know that the spider isn’t symbolic of something GOOD?
…and personally, I think the move name would be better titled something like “Bandsaw”.
Much easier to say in the heat of battle, because in reality talking isn’t a free action. Usually, anyway…
Band Music Buzzsaw is the best sound effect ever.
