According to John, the key to victory is to jump off the platform and fall to an untimely death. So…let’s see how that plays out as a strategy.
Colors by Kim Marsing, the creator of Out of Key!
Did John forget he needs Olivia to fly?
So far, I see no glaring holes in that strategy.
John: “Concentrated group attacks aren’t strong enough to hurt it. We should split up.”
Ashley: “What? No John, that doesn’t make any sense.”
Charlie: “We should move the platform higher up so the bastard can’t hit us.”
John: “No, I think we need to split up.”
Ashley: “You sure? Maybe we should look for weaknesses up here first, like its glowing white…”
John: “Nope. Splitting up is the best idea.”
Ashley: “Fine, just give me a second to bring this thing dow…”
John: “No need. I’m sure it’s safe to jump from high enough to see clouds below us. Gerooonim..”
John never makes it to the ground. The giant rabbit easily predicts John’s simple trajectory and makes a single swipe with its great arm, instantly crushing him. Without John and his necklace, the other two become trapped in Olivia’s soul world forever. And it’s all because John had to be an idiot. Thus ends Soul Symphony’s shortest fanfic.
I think you just won an award.
Oh my god, excellent.
And lemme tell ya: If Olivia were here, flying above his arm’s reach and shooting at his eyes would’ve been the first thing she would’ve had them try.
