The grumpy Olivia Myers’s cherished time in the school band room is interrupted by a strange, magical creature. The odd spirit, Carl, tells Olivia that it is her duty to restore happiness to upset students throughout the school.
First Movement: To Each Their Own

John, a star athlete, can’t stop thinking about basketball. This soon gets in the way of both his academics and music. Olivia, wanting to avoid social contact with John, convinces him to study with an anonymous note. But everything changes when Carl pushes Olivia a little bit further.
Second Movement: Death To All But Metal
Client: Charlie Briggs, Electric Guitarist
Charlie, a talented guitarist and good friend of John’s, hasn’t been on good terms with his parents lately. With happy memories buried under his burning, teenage anger, Olivia resorts to entering his Soul World to patch things up. After a very dangerous first try, Carl convinces her that maybe an ally could help.
Third Movement: For Family Pride
Client: Eric Sakai, Viola Player
Eric, the most skilled musician in orchestra, has a big solo recital coming up. The only thing more difficult to deal with than his extremely difficult piece is the pressure of his grandfather’s musical legacy. Are Olivia’s socials skills [or lack thereof] up to the challenge?
Fourth Movement: Only If I’m Wanted
Client: Ashley Gossow, Drummer
When Ashley, a conflicted percussionist, finds herself struck with uncontrollable feelings for both Charlie and his deeply hated rival, Olivia and Carl know it’s time to fix what has gone wrong.
